LAZY SNEK 2 - LINUX X86_64 SHARED SERVER

Keep LazySnek2Server.x86_64 and LazySnek2Server.pck together.
Official Godot 4.7.2 runtime; Linux x86_64, glibc 2.28 or newer.

Run as a normal user in this folder:

  chmod +x LazySnek2Server.x86_64
  ./LazySnek2Server.x86_64 --headless -- --server --port 24772

It will print LAZY_SNEK_SERVER_READY port=24772.
Allow UDP 24772 in your VPS provider and operating-system firewalls.
The current desktop clients automatically use snek.guarcs.pro:24772.
One player creates a room, and the second joins its six-character code.
Player UI shows no server address. For another hosting endpoint, update the
client's internal configuration or use developer command-line overrides.
Room capacity: two players. Default limit: 32 rooms / 64 connected peers.

For a local-only server add --bind 127.0.0.1. The default listens on all
interfaces. Use --port NUMBER to choose a different port.
Stop the server with Ctrl+C. Rooms are held in memory; a restart clears them.

The included lazy-snek-2.service is an optional systemd example. It expects
a dedicated lazy-snek account and the two game files in /opt/lazy-snek-2.
Create that account and copy the files before installing/enabling the service.

Optional Docker recipe, from this folder:

  docker build -t lazy-snek-2 .
  docker run --name lazy-snek-2 --restart unless-stopped -p 24772:24772/udp lazy-snek-2

This native binary was tested on the Ubuntu 24.04 x86_64 VPS, including two
exported Windows clients playing through the public domain. The deployed
systemd service is enabled at boot. Docker execution remains untested.

The prototype has no accounts, room passwords, or transport encryption.
Anyone with the server address and code can fill an empty player slot.
Basic internet play passed; long-running hosting still needs testing.
